Employee Benefit Insurance schemes are meant for welfare and wellbeing of employees. The policies provide social security benefits which include compensation for hospitalisation, untimely death, disabilities, occupational diseases and injuries.
Death, Disablement, injury, dismemberment, hospitalisation due to accidental causes or disease. The policy may be limited to the working hours or may be issued on 24 hours basis.
Employers, Association, Club members etc. can purchase this insurance. It is to be remembered that the liability to Employees is mandatory under Employee’s Compensation Act (Or ESIC Act if notified for that area).
